March Madness 2024 Overview

March Madness is the name given to the end-of-season NCAA college basketball season. In 2024,68 teams will enter the elimination tournament to determine the overall championship winner.

Of the 68 teams, 32 are those who won their conference tournament. However, the remaining 36 teams are selected by the NCAA committee.

Before the competition, each team is seeded and the best-performing teams of the season receive an easier path to the final.

Schedule

For the 2024 season, March Madness starts on March 19 and ends on April 8.
