Stake.com has been confirmed as a principal partner of the 2022 European Cricket Championships.

The European Cricket Championships run from September 12 to October 14 in Malaga, Spain, with 21 nations participating.

Stake is the world's biggest crypto sportsbook and casino and is popular with hundreds of thousands of players across the world.

The Championships are hosted by the European Cricket League and is the only professional Ten10 cricket tournament to be hosted outside of the United Kingdom as cricket's governing bodies look to increase exposure of the new Ten10 format.

Roger Feiner of the European Cricket League said: "European Cricket is proud to partner with Stake.com, one of the most innovative and engaging companies within this sector, for the European Cricket Championships 2022.

"With this engagement, European Cricket is proud to sit alongside other first-class sponsorships of Stake.com such as their partnerships with Premier League team Everton FC, Indian Super League team Mumbai City FC and several other high-profile global partnerships that include UFC and Sergio Aguero.

"Like Stake.com we are innovators, and we believe there can be a lot of overlap between our companies when it comes to principles and best practices."

New Stake players can register with the Stake.com code NEWBONUS to get up to $3000 bonus.

Dominic Rae, Sponsorship Manager of Stake.com, added: "We are excited for this partnership with The European Cricket Championship. We have been impressed with the tournament’s growth, and cricket is a sport with an enormous and passionate fan base. We are looking forward to seeing some top-class action across the 120 matches of the tournament."

The announcement is Stake's second cricket-related partnership after the crypto sportsbook and casino became the on-ground partner of India’s T20 Tour of Ireland earlier this year.
