Wimbledon is at the closing stages and that means there are four women left in the draw to compete for the trophy.

Those four women are: Ons Jabeur, Tatjana Maria, Simona Halep and Elena Rybakina.

All four players have played superbly up to this point, and all have a good chance of getting to the finals and make some tennis history.

Ons Jabeur vs Tatjana Maria

This matchup figures to be intriguing between two styles of play that are completely opposite.

Ons Jabeur is the #2 ranked woman in the WTA and has had one of the best grass seasons in the history of the sport.

She has a game style that is suited to the grass due to her use of the drop shot and other variety to confuse and trick opponents.

On such a fast surface there is nothing that can be ruled out and Jabeur lets her opponents always guess her next move.

She is the clear favourite in this match.

Tatjana Maria is having the tournament of her life these past 10 days and deservedly so.

The German has adapted well to the surface and is a scary sight for her potential in the future.

Maria is known to stay in these points for long amounts of time which is severely rare for the grass.

Coming up against Jabeur will possibly neutralize that aspect of her game and could cause her problems.

Maria is as capable of an opponent as possible for Jabeur and there are definite chances that will be had throughout the match.

Simona Halep is looking like her old self which means the competition might be looking anxious.

Her play this Wimbledon has been near flawless, and her opponents are not getting time on the ball.

Halep is playing error free tennis which reflects her craft put in before this tournament.

There is so much she can do on the court and this semi-final will feel like validation that she is back on the top of her game.

Elena Rybakina will be trying to cause an upset, which is of course possible. She is a big serving player who exploits ground strokes on short balls.

There could be problems for both players, but Halep should come through.

Prediction - Halep in a tight two sets, but taking it 2-0.
