Ciryl Gane vs Tai Tuivasa Preview

This weekend we'll be treated to five rounds between one of the best strikers Ciryl Gane and the ultimate live underdog, Tai Tuivasa.

Gane entered the UFC with an impressive 7-fight win streak which led many to buy stock in his championship reign.

He was undefeated and on top of the world until he ran into Francis Ngannou.

Gane has looked incredible on his UFC run defeating some solid contenders in Derrick Lewis, Alexander Volkov and Junior Dos Santos.

He will look to get back to the win column after his first ever setback but across the Octagon will be his Australian rival.

Tai Tuivasa is one of the most entertaining and fan-friendly fighters in the UFC because of his fun walkouts and fighting style.

He was touted as one of the best contenders when he entered the UFC with an undefeated record and built a strong 3-fight win streak.

Unfortunately, his streak was derailed by a 3-fight losing run, but he went back to the workshop and knocked out his last five opponents.

This fight provides a great clash of styles as Ciryl will look to move around, use a lot of feints, and keep Tai guessing, whereas Tuivasa will try to snipe and find the perfect kill shot.

UFC Fight Night Best Bets

Our first best bet comes on an intriguing Featherweight bout between Charles Jourdain and Nathaniel Wood.

This is a great fight between two incredibly talented prospects. Look for this to be a very close and competitive fight. Both men are tough to finish, so at a near 2/1 price, we see value in this fight going the distance.

Our next best bet is on our co-main event between Robert Whittaker and Marvin Vettori.

Vettori has a tough grinding style, but Whittaker is the best anti-wrestlers in the UFC and his striking is far superior.

Given the toughness of Marvin Vettori, we think the Australian will pick up a unanimous victory across the scorecards.

Our final bet comes on our main event of the evening.

It's not a surprise that Ciryl Gane is the more skilled fighter, but it only takes one punch with the heavyweights and that's what makes this fight intriguing.

We think there will be a finish in this fight but given Tai's strong chin and Ciryl's sneaky submission game, we see tremendous value on Gane to win by a submission victory this weekend.
