  • Stake has launched a locally regulated sportsbook and online casino platform for eligible players in Buenos Aires Province
  • The Argentine platform offers real-money access to players who are aged 18+ and physically located in the province

Stake has launched its regulated sportsbook and online casino platform in Argentina’s Buenos Aires Province, extending the brand’s growing presence across Latin America.

The new local platform is available under a licence granted by the Provincial Institute of Lotteries and Casinos of the Province of Buenos Aires (IPLyC).

Stake’s entry into Argentina is currently limited to Buenos Aires Province rather than constituting a nationwide launch. Real money betting and casino play are available to eligible players who are aged 18+ and physically located within the authorised provincial territory.

New players can join with the Stake.com referral code MAXBET for access to a welcome bonus worth up to $3,000.

Stake Goes Live in Buenos Aires Province

The Buenos Aires launch brings Stake’s sportsbook and online casino products to a new regulated Latin American market.

Eligible players can access sports betting markets, including live betting and streaming, alongside online casino categories such as slots, live casino games, blackjack, roulette and baccarat.

The platform operates in Argentine pesos and is distinct from the international Stake.com site. Players in Buenos Aires Province use a locally regulated platform and are subject to its regional terms, identity checks and geolocation controls.

Diana Otalora, Stake’s LatAm General Manager, described Argentina as a “natural next step” in the operator’s expansion across Latin America.

Speaking about the launch, she highlighted Argentina’s sporting culture, digitally engaged population and long-term value to Stake as the company continues to strengthen its regional footprint.

"Argentina is an important market for us and a natural next step in our expansion across Latin America," said Otalora. "There is an incredibly passionate sporting culture, a large and digitally engaged population and strong long-term potential for Stake.

"We’ve continued to build momentum across Latin America in recent years, and this launch reflects our ambition to establish Stake as the leading entertainment brand in the region.

"Argentina is a market with energy and identity and we’re excited to bring our world-class sportsbook and casino experience to players through Stake."

The launch follows Stake’s recent entry into Mexico, alongside its existing presence in Latin American markets including Brazil, Colombia and Peru.

Stake Argentina offers a sportsbook covering popular sports markets, with dedicated sections for football, basketball, tennis and esports shown on the local platform.

Live sports betting is also available across selected events, while the casino offering includes:

Online slots, live casino games, poker, blackjack, roulette and baccarat.

Stake’s Buenos Aires launch arrives ahead of the 2026 World Cup, with Argentina preparing to defend the title it won in Qatar in 2022. The timing gives the operator a prominent entry point into a market with deep football interest and a large potential online audience, while also reinforcing Stake’s wider focus on regulated expansion in Latin America.
