NBA Finals Week 2 Preview
- Golden State Warriors vs Boston Celtics series continues this week
- Score currently level at 1-1 following Game 2 of the Finals
- Get NBA Finals Game 3 & 4 Predictions!
The NBA finals has gotten off to a hot start, with both teams in great form and knowing that they are both capable of winning the series.
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr realised he had to fix things after a shocking game one collapse, which held Draymond Green and company responsible. In Game 2 on Sunday, Stephen Curry put in an inspired performance, and with help from his team-mates, Golden State completed a 107-88 blowout win to level the series.
Games 3 and 4 will be a true test for Boston, as their home record this playoffs does not reflect the best of teams. Swing games in the middle of the series end up being crucial to the result, and these games will be exactly that.

Golden State Warriors @ Boston Celtics – Game 3 & 4 Preview
Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have been through and done that when it comes to Basketball accolades. The best shooting duo of all time has had a long career of repeat trips to the NBA finals, and multiple Championships. They are now faced with the tough task of trying to take a hold on the series in Boston in games three and four. There is hope for the Warriors though, and they need to start relying on their role players once again to come up big. Jordan Poole has been absent these past few weeks of playoff basketball, and his emergence as a star needs to be reconsidered if he does not perform here.
Steve Kerr will draw up different defensive schemes, and will hope to get stops that lead them down the court for transition points. Golden State fans know to never give up on this Warriors team, but things can take a turn for the worst very fast.
Boston has to feel confident about their play up to this point in the series, and their ability to limit the Warriors scoring around Curry. After a horrible game one shooting performance out of Jayson Tatum, the Celtics must feel confident in their laurels after the rest of their team started to pick it up, instead. Ime Udokah has instilled massive trust in his system, which has resulted in a great bond between players on the court. They know where to find their teammates, and what passes to make in difficult situations. If they can keep up their defensive sustainability, while also making tough shots, there is no reason to believe the Celtics won’t win it all.
Prediction: GSW and the Celtics Split games three and four, one each.
