The Chargers, meanwhile, picked off Derek Carr three times and sacked him five times in a 24-19 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Los Angeles and Kansas City will now look to improve to 2-0, and even at this early stage of the season this looks like being a hugely important matchup.

Last year the two teams split their regular season meetings, with each winning on the road.

Los Angeles scored nine points in the final 134 seconds to snatch a 30-24 victory at Arrowhead in Week 3.

The Chiefs got their revenge in a Week 15 thriller that saw each team lead in the final 139 seconds before the game went to overtime.

Kansas City came out on top though, when Patrick Mahomes hit Travis Kelce for the winning score in OT.
