Brasileiro Serie A - Fluminense FC vs Corinthians SP
Prediction: Draw @ $3.15
With an eye on playing Boca Juniors in their return Copa Libertadores leg a few days later, Corinthians could be forgiven for taking things a little easy this match, but at the same time will want to keep up the pace with league leaders Palmeiras.
Fluminense have found some form in the past month, and haven’t conceded a goal in their last 3 league matches.
Both teams have been very efficient in defence this season from their 14 matches. Fluminense have conceded 14 goals, while Corinthians have conceded 10. With no team having an obvious claim for this match, a draw feels the value bet.
Wimbledon - Nick Kyrgios v Stefanos Tsitsipas
Prediction: Tsitsipas to win @ 2.13
This is a blockbuster third round match at Wimbledon where World No.40 Kyrgios is favourite against the World No.5, Tsitsipas.
The reason is their head-to-head record being 3-1 to the Australian.
With the likelihood this goes beyond three sets, the chances of Kyrgios becoming disengaged and distracted increases.
Tsitsipas is a French Open finalist and Australian Open semi-finalist. He is used to competing at the highest level and will not get swept up in the antics, if they start.
Kyrgios is unpredictable and he’s undoubtedly got the talent to beat the World No.5. But to have him favourite in a five set match against an equally talented, level-headed professional, seems wrong.
MLB - LA Angels vs Houston Astros
Prediction: Astros to win @1.66
Our best bet for the weekend. Expect the Astros’ batting lineup to tear the Angels to shreds!
MLS - Toronto FC vs Seattle Sounders
Prediction: Toronto FC to win @ 2.65
With their recent marquee signing of Insigne, Toronto FC and their fans will be sparking with excitement in this next match.
The signing of Insigne not only means an elite addition to their squad, but also a much needed attention magnet into their league and club.
Toronto should comfortably win this.
Wimbledon - Ugo Humbert vs David Goffin
Prediction: Goffin to win @ 1.69
Another tip from Wimbledon where Goffin has had a straight forward start to his campaign, despite the quality of his opponents.
His baseline-style of play will test Humbert's endurance over the course of the match and the longer it goes on, the more likely we see Goffin coming out on top.
Humbert will need to start strong and feed off the adrenaline if he is to have any chance of getting into the fourth round.
Especially against an opponent who has already played twice the amount of sets at the All England Club.
Formula 1 - British Grand Prix 2022
Prediction: Charles Leclerc to win First Practice @ 2.50
Equipped with a fresh power unit which saw him take grid penalties in Canada, Charles will be eager to put in some laps and try to test out his new car and this should equate to fast times in first Practice.
It is worth noting that he has set the fastest first practice time in five out of nine races so far this year. 2.50 may be too big a price here.
