2024 Stake.com ATP Finals Favourites

Stake.com will have outright winner odds for the ATP Finals closer to the event. However, several players are likely to be favourites in Turin.

World number one Jannik Sinner will head to the ATP Finals feeling confident following a strong 2024. The Italian player won his first Grand Slam in January, beating Daniil Medvedev in the final. He notched another major in September, winning the US Open. Sinner has been consistent at the top level, also securing Masters 1000 titles in Shanghai, Cincinnati and Miami.

Carlos Alcaraz is behind Sinner in the official ATP rankings but the Spanish star has also enjoyed a solid campaign. Alcaraz also lifted to Grand Slams at the French Open and Wimbledon. Like Sinner, the 21-year-old also secured Masters 1000 titles, winning at Indian Wells.

Alexander Zverev is likely to be among the ATP Finals favourites in 2024. The German won this competition in 2021, defeating Medvedev in straight sets. However, his only high-profile victory this season came at the Italian Open in May. Otherwise, the German has struggled on the big stages, failing to notch a Grand Slam title to his career honours.

Novak Djokovic is also a major player in men’s tennis. The Serbian is ranked fourth in the ATP standings but has a great history at the end-of-season finals. Djokovic has won seven ATP Finals titles in his career. He also won the last two titles in 2022 and 2023 - seeing off Casper Ruud and Sinner without dropping a set.

What is the ATP Finals?

The ATP Finals is the season-ending championship for men's tennis. It features the top eight singles players and doubles teams in the world, based on their performance throughout the year.

Unlike traditional tournaments, players can lose a match and still win the title. The ATP Finals typically take place in November, marking the conclusion of the tennis season.

Historically, the tournament has been hosted in cities like London. But it’s now held in Turin, Italy.

Previous winners include legends like Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Pete Sampras. Djokovic holds the record for seven titles. Roger Federer also won the competition six times. Other stars like Medvedev and Zverev have also won in recent years.
