However, his only high-profile victory this season came at the Italian Open in May. Otherwise, the German has struggled on the big stages, failing to notch a Grand Slam title to his career honours.

Novak Djokovic is also a major player in men’s tennis. The Serbian is ranked fourth in the ATP standings but has a great history at the end-of-season finals. Djokovic has won seven ATP Finals titles in his career. He also won the last two titles in 2022 and 2023 - seeing off Casper Ruud and Sinner without dropping a set.
